1. Admission & Costs

Q: What is the admission fee?
A: Admission is $8 per person for ages 3 and up, and children 3 and under are free.


Q: Are there any discounts available?
A: No. We do not offer discounts unless specifically stated.

Q: Does a day pass guarantee access to specific areas?
A: A day pass grants you full access to all open park amenities. However, rentals such as kayaks, cabanas, pavilions, and paddle boards are separate and require an additional fee.

Q: What are the park hours?

A: Normal Operation Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 6 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM- 7 PM 
Hours may fluctuate due to seasonality. Please stay up to date by signing up for our newsletter or following us on social media. 

Q: If I arrive at the park 3 hours or less before closing time, do I have to pay the same entry fee

A: Yes 

Q: What is the cutoff time for entering the park? 

A: 1 hour till closing time 

Q: May I re-enter the park after I have paid for a park pass?
A: Yes, you may, but you must have a re-entry ticket on your dashboard ( please visit the office to get one if needed).

Q: If I have an annual or daily pass I have prepaid for, do I need to wait in line? 
A: Pre-paid visitors with any offered passes will receive priority entry into the park. 



2. Park Management & General Info


Q: Who operates Lake Conroe Beach Park?
A: Lake Conroe Beach Park is a private entity under new management and operation. We are not operated by the county.


Q: Do you follow any additional regulations?
A: Yes. We abide by the rules and regulations set by the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA). You can view them here:

Q: Can I ride my scooter or bicycle on the park grounds?
A: We do not have trails set for this activity, but we hope to expand in the next couple of years to allow for this. As of today, it is not permitted. 

 


3. Pets & Animals

Q: Are pets allowed in the park?
A: No. We do not allow pets of any kind. If you bring an animal, you will be removed from the park.


Q: Can I feed wildlife in the park?
A: No. Feeding feral or wild animals on SJRA land is strictly prohibited.

4. Swimming & Water Activities


Q: Is there a lifeguard on duty?
A: No. There is no lifeguard on duty; swimming is at your own risk.


Q: Are kayak rentals available?
A: Yes. Kayak rentals are available for an additional cost (not included in admission).


5. Fishing


Q: Can I fish at Lake Conroe Beach Park?
A: Yes. You may fish from the park’s pier. You must have a valid Texas fishing license with a freshwater endorsement.


Q: Are there specific fishing regulations I should know?
A:

  • Rainbow & Brown Trout (including hybrids/subspecies): No minimum length, daily bag limit = 5 in any combination.

  • White Bass: Minimum length = 10 inches, daily bag limit = 25.

  • Striped/Hybrid Striped Bass: Minimum length = 18 inches, daily bag limit = 5 in any combination.

6. Vehicles & Parking


Q: Are motorized vehicles allowed in the park?
A: No. No motorized vehicles are allowed inside the park at any time. You may not park or launch a boat, jet ski, or any other motorized vehicle within the park.

 

Q: Is there a boat ramp?
A: No. For the safety of all visitors there are NO motorized vehicles of any kind allowed in the park to be launched or that may pull up on our shores or boarders. 

 

Q: May I bring my own kayak?

A: No outside kayaks or paddleboards are allowed to be launched at the park. We do have several kayaks and paddleboards available for rent. 
 

Q: Where can I park my car?
A: We have designated parking areas. Please follow all posted signs and instructions from our parking team. Improperly parked vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.


Q: Will I have to wait in line if I have a day pass?
A: We will be monitoring lines closely, and visitors who have prepaid (e.g., purchased day passes in advance) will be given a faster entry process.
 

7. Rules & Prohibited Activities

Below are some key rules. 

  • Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on property.

  • Smoking/Vaping: Not permitted on park premises, including parking lots.

  • Soliciting: Not permitted.

  • Horses: Not permitted.

  • Camping: Not allowed.

  • Glass Containers: Prohibited.

  • Fireworks: Prohibited.

  • Fires: Allowed only in designated barbeque grills.

  • Destruction of Vegetation: Not allowed.

  • Dumping Trash/Litter: Prohibited; please use proper receptacles.

  • Excessive Noise: Not allowed.

  • No Personal Tents or Umbrellas on the grass please put them on our grassy area. 

  • Abandoned Vehicles: Prohibited.

  • Selling Goods/Services: Not allowed without explicit permission.

  • Metal Detecting: Allowed

8. Facility Reservations


Q: Are the park’s facilities first come, first served?
A: Yes. However, if you want exclusive use of a rentable outdoor facility, you must submit the required form, have it approved, and pay the deposit and fees in full.


Q: What is the cancellation policy for reservations?
A: Cancellations must be made at least three (3) business days before the reservation date to receive a refund of the deposit and rental fees. No exceptions.


Q: What if my event causes damage or goes beyond the reserved time?
A: Any damage to property, removal of park equipment, or failure to vacate/clean up within the designated reservation time may result in the loss of your deposit and/or additional fees.

 

Q: Can I host a fitness class in the park?
A: Yes, we’d love to collaborate! There is a small fee, and you can coordinate with us by emailing hello@lakeconroebeachpark.com or calling Soraya Herbert at (936) 900-1401 for more details.

Q: Are confetti eggs allowed?
A: Confetti is allowed only if it is biodegradable and approved in advance by the LCBP team.

Park Annual Pass Holder Information

  • This is a one-time purchase only available until May 24th, 2025. 

  • With this pass, you will have unlimited access to the park 

  • You can bring guests up to 4 for a discounted rate of $6/per person.

  • There are no refunds.

  • 25% off all Rentals ( not including cabanas, pavilions or weddings)

  • You must present your ID when using your Park Pass, and your name must match the name on file. 

  • For ticketed events, you will still have to pay the event ticket price

Additional Notes

  • Swim at Your Own Risk: No lifeguard on duty.

  • No Pets: Includes service animals.

  • Private Entity: Lake Conroe Beach Park is not managed by the county.

  • SJRA Compliance: We adhere to all SJRA rules; please review them before visiting.

  • Park Etiquette: Always respect fellow visitors, staff instructions, and park property to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience.
